Love in Full Bloom: Anniversary Photos in Richmond
There’s something magical about springtime in Vancouver – especially when the cherry blossoms are in full bloom. Last April, I had the joy of capturing a beautiful anniversary session at Garry Point Park in Richmond, BC, one of the most iconic spots for cherry blossom photography.
This sweet couple wanted to celebrate their love in a meaningful way, and timing couldn’t have been more perfect. We planned the session carefully to match the golden hour at sunset, when the light is soft, dreamy, and flattering – adding even more romance to the blooming scenery.
What made this session even more special was the fact that it was their last year living in Vancouver. The cherry blossoms, the ocean views, and the vibrant spring colors became a heartfelt reminder of the city they called home for so many years. Through these photos, they will always carry a piece of Vancouver’s beauty with them.
